Dermal fillers are a popular and simple cosmetic procedure. Results can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.
For best results, it’s critical that you find a provider who is experienced and licensed in performing dermal filler injections. Our Registered Nurse, Vahid, is a specialist trained to provide exceptional aesthetic results that are both natural-looking and of the highest quality.
Dermal fillers are a cosmetic injectable treatment that enhances the volume of certain areas of the face. This gives you a more defined bone structure as well as lifting the skin, plumping the face, and creating a youthful look. By injecting volume under your skin, fillers can also smooth out wrinkles and fine lines working as an anti-aging treatment.
Dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years before results subside and you will need further treatment. The dermal filler material eventually dissolves and metabolises into your skin tissue.
Anyone can get dermal fillers to enhance their face shape and create a more youthful look.
You should speak to one of our Doctors before getting cheek fillers if you:
After a consultation with our RN, Vahid, where you discuss pricing, cost, and your desired results, you will create a personalised treatment plan.
In the 2 weeks prior to the procedure, you’ll need to avoid taking any blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin.
If you’re on prescription blood thinners, let our Doctor know at your consultation meeting. They may give you additional guidelines for how to prep for your filler appointment.
Nurse Vahid may apply a topical anesthetic to the injection site, or there may be a numbing agent already mixed into the filler itself. The injection process should be simple and will only last 20 minutes or so.
After your treatment, you’ll be able to see some of the results immediately. It will take a day or two for the filler to settle into its position on your face.
There is no downtime. You can drive after the procedure, and you can even return to work or other appointments immediately after.
You should avoid strenuous exercise until the filler has completely taken its shape, 48 hours after the injection procedure.
Avoid touching your face, and keep your face clean and dry as much as possible until the risk of infection has passed.
Dermal fillers are a low-risk, straightforward procedure with minimal recovery time. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a risk of side effects.
Side effects of fillers can include:
